Hello hello!
2017 is almost over, what a year! What a year!
I truly enjoy taking some time to look at all that was accomplished. It is totally acceptable to look back if it is to improve oneself. So it is your turn, too: Take a pencil, a piece of paper and jot down all your successes. And then, only then, in a small box at the bottom of the paper write your failures (if any) or difficulties. Writing them down can help us better understand what went wrong so that you do not find yourself in the same situation come 2018.
Amazing encounters!
Thanks to two boot.meetings in Paris I got the privilege to meet amazing boot.campers. Spending my April 29th birthday with you was a great gift! Ending this meeting with an indoor flight with the winners of our city treasure hunt was an amazing treat! You were my most beautiful gift.
I also made amazing human encounters, the kind that brings some sun in your life even if you don’t get to see those people every day:
Stephanie, my gym buddy. We motivate each other. We pulverize the other’s excuses to not exercise and end up at the gym for a full fitness session (like an Optimum from LeBodyChallenge.com) followed by a well-deserved tea. Stephanie is not really on the social media scene, a true relaxing friendship then!
Carole, my Hutterite friend. Visiting with her was a pure pleasure. Discovering her culture, her life, her family and friends…what a great experience!
Eva, even less present on social media since she has no account on anything what so ever. My city biking buddy and my beauty DIY guinea pig. She just abandoned me to move to Seattle but I have hoping she comes back South to the sun.
Emma, the little cup cake. Ok this one is very very active on the social media scene 🙂 We exchange and chit-chat. She is a very special lady this cup cake. She does not fit in any box and we love it like that.
And to be ever closer to you end of 2017 I launched weekly FB Lives. First in French and early 2018 I will launch them in English as well. We shall talk about fitness, cooking, health myths, essential oils, yoga, and other anti-stress techniques. Which day and time would work best for you?

Fitness!
Sweating every single day is my motto but never with some boring routine! No push ups and lunges for me because I get bored so easily.
On the fitness menu:
Scuba diving as often as I can. Either locally in the freezing waters of Monterey or in the Tropics in the warm waters of Fiji or Bora Bora.
Acro-yoga every week because I am addicted! The pure pleasure of stretching my emotional fabric, of going beyond my self-imposed limits. Excellent for my morale: Either I succeed and I have the satisfaction of succeeding or…I fail, I fall, I struggle….I work on it again and again until I reach some precarious balance for a few seconds and this makes my day. Success and happiness are at the end of the acroyoga journey!
Indoor flying acrobatics: I am addicted! Truly. Nothing beats indoor flying acrobatics to empty one’s mind and recharge one’s batteries.
Mountain climbing training: Regularly I walk the dog carrying a weighted backpack, I workout on the elliptical and on the stairmaster and work on my back muscles.
And of course, on the days I don’t do anything else than my 15,000 steps I squeeze in an Optimum, a Medium or a Minimum from my LeBodyChallenge.com workout plan.
Books!
A very prolific year with 5 new books in French. Fret not if you speak English as a new book is coming out in the early days of 2018 in your favorite language!
Recipes!
Hundreds of new recipes per year are added to your LeBootCamp private space (I love creating them for you). You can get them through your program but also when I offer the weekly FB Lives. So stay tuned for the first FB Lives in English in 2018
Surprises!
French #1 Economic daily newspaper, Les Echos, nominated me one of the 200 French personalities representing the France of tomorrow. How flatterie and humbling. Thank you Les Echos, this nomination really touched me deeply.
And I am ending the year with a brand new French site…soon to be ported on the American version so stay tuned for some new design and functionalities!
As you can see I was pretty active in 2017.
Your turn to realize how much you have accomplished in 2017. On a piece of paper jot down everything positive that happened to you. On another one list all the horrors, despairs and terrines you were faced with. Writing them down can help us better understand what went wrong so that you do not find yourself in the same situation come 2018. Burn this piece of paper in the fireplace or drown it in water then throw it away.
