Fat bombs are an easy go-to snack for those following a strict keto diet as they are an amazing source of pure fat.
In my Keto Smart approach (still in French but the English version is coming up soon), I suggest a healthier level of fats (from 70 or even 90% to 50%). However, some of us still have some troubles reaching 50% of healthy fats, hence this recipe.
If you do not follow my Keto Smart approach and are following my online weight loss coaching LeBootCamp program you will still enjoy this sweet snack.
Remember though, that each fat bomb brings anywhere between 150 and 250 calories (obviously this number varies greatly depending on the size of the fat bomb).
Ingredients
- ½ cup almond butter (or any other type of nut butter)
- 1/4 cup cacao powder (I go for the raw version but anything above 85% will do)
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- Stevia or monk fruit, to taste
- Optional: 1 pinch sea salt
Steps
- Mix all the ingredients
- Transfer into small molds (recycled paper are my fave)
- Keep in freezer for at least 3 hours
For the pink version on the photo I replaced the cacao powder with pitaya (dragon fruit) powder and the almond butter with much whiter macadamia butter.
Bon appétit !
