Recycled Sunglasses: 100% Sustainable, Sexy, and Trendy!
I absolutely love sunglasses. They add style to our look, effortlessly transitioning us from chic to sporty, serious to fun, and everything in between. But every year, I see these cheap or expensive sunglasses that we buy and then toss aside once the season is over, and I can’t help but think, “Wow, all that plastic!” Whether it’s Chanel, Dior, or a budget brand from the local supermarket, it’s still plastic.
That’s why I am thrilled to announce that I have succeeded in creating sunglasses made entirely from recycled plastic, specifically from the bottle caps! And they’re available exclusively online, at my sustainable brand, LiliWarrior.com .
Did you know that bottle caps are extremely difficult to recycle? The majority of developing countries only recycle bottles and bury the caps in the ground. It is estimated that nearly 500 billion plastic bottles are used worldwide every year! So, at our level, we can do something small. Each and every one of us can have a positive impact on the mountain of plastic waste we generate.
Drumroll…here are the deets on my new shades!
- They come in two colors: black frames with blue polarized lenses, and tortoiseshell frames with brown lenses.
- Both frames are made from 100% recycled plastic.
- The lenses are UV 400 CE and Cat. 3, offering excellent protection.
- The LiliWarrior logo is engraved on the temple, giving them a super classy touch.
- And…these sunglasses are recyclable! It’s a virtuous circle!
Special offer: 15% additional discount on our exclusive 2-pack at LiliWarrior.com, with coupon code GOLD15!
