After the launch in the UK and in France, here I am …. In Rome…for only 30 hours. I had always dreamed of visiting this amazing city but I can already tell you that the historical visit will have to wait for another trip to this beautiful city!
Let me tell you something: Romans are highly efficient in a disorganized way! They manage to pack so many TV interviews, press interviews, lunch and dinner in so little time, it is simply impressive. The result is that you constantly run! If you like the 25ht hour then Rome is your city! In a taxy rushing between 2 interviews? Contract your glutes….in the elevator for your interview with La Republicca ? Invisible chair! No time for food? Well…..wait until dinner in the ghetto!
All in all, an active day with amazing interviews. Italians like LeBootCamp. They are fed up with crazy, extreme diets and are keen on a healthier lifestyle. So we have a lot of media happy to feature LeBootCamp.
I start the day with a press agency specialized in health, KRONOS with a host full of energy and health knowledge, Margharita Lopes. I get to truly explain what is different about LeBootCamp Diet or in Italian, La Dieta LeBootCamp: the 4 phases, the 4 pilars, my history and more. A great way to start the day!
Then we rush to the RAI2 (TG2 – news “Costume e Società”) studio for a quick interview about my concept, the detox, the attack, the maintenance and the booster phases. Lots of smiles on the face of the host, Maria Grazzia Capulli. She has read my book entirely, which never ceases to surprise me in Italy. Very often in other countries, journalists have not read more than just the summary of the book.
Then….you would think it is time for a tea or even better, a sobacha? But now….ha ha! We rush again in a taxi to the next interview with Lara Grinò, a journalist from La Republicca (and most specifically Il Venerdì di Repubblica). She is very impressive! Had read the entire book and is very savvy when it comes to healthy living. Can’t wait to see her piece!
It is 8 pm…..time for a quick Jewish dinner in the ghetto in a highly recommended restaurant with dear Maria Elisa, my publicist here in Italy. She offers to guide me through the city at night…but no…I cannot as I have 2 interviews to finish writing for the UK and for France.
Second day in Rome and what a day! It is a movie! Of course it is raining cats and dogs in a city otherwise famous for its sunny weather! And we are supposed to film outside for RAI1 “Unomattina”. The host looks sooooo Roman and chic! We spend the morning together, shooting in the hotel and talking about what makes LeBootCamp Diet special and why it can help any woman lose weight and keep it off.
Chiara Del Gaudio the suggest we change into our fitness outfit and go out in the rain to shoot a few segments of 25th hours.
With the rain my hair looks terrible…argh and I have another TV interview…..that’s why we invented hair gel 🙂
But first, need to pack and free up the hotel room…then a quick lunch-interview for an prominent Italian website with a cool journalist who has read the book, too. I am still impressed! We all share lunch and talk about how to get rid of cellulite, the top 4 ways to do so and how to get rid of fat on the abdomen and on the thighs.
No time to even do a trip to the bathroom…we need to rush to Telegiorno5 for a short interview for a show on new books by the famous Carlo Gallucci. On the way there my interpreter tells me that she has started LeBootCamp Diet last Monday and has already lost 1 kg. I say “great but keep it up to never regain it!”
During this interview I really stress the fact that this is not A diet but A lifestyle that touches on different subjects that are all very important: yummy nutrition, easy fitness, motivation, sleep & stress management.
And guess what…we are late for the train to Milan……we jump in a cab…..the driver is confused…thinks we are going to the airport…so goes the wrong way….turns around….and we catch the train as it starts moving….
What a day! Gotta love it!
