Greetings from Los Angeles everyone!
On the agenda today, one to one coaching with a few clients, a radio talk show and a visit to the E3.
Once in a while it is necessary to visit my clients and and see for myself how they are doing. It is a chance to catch up, have lovely conversations about their diet, make a few changes if necessary and go for a long walk on the beach to ad steps on the meter whilst having a chat!
To make sure I kick the day off on the right footing, I always start out at dawn for a 30 minutes stroll on an empty stomach on the gorgeous beach of Santa Monica (after I had my lemon juice and my cup of sobacha, I do cart my lemons with me wherever I go to be sure to have my freshly squeezed juice in the morning ).
Back in my room, 100 abs on my mat and 100 abductor reps on each side and I am set for my high octane day!
Quick trip to the hairdresser, radio shows are filmed here so I still have too look my best.
I am delighted as I slip into a gorgeous dress that fits me perfectly, my Bikini Fitness Challenge efforts over the last few weeks are paying off! !
I head for the LA Talk Live! studios for a 20 min interview with Josh Lane, one of the pioneers who worked with Dr. Ann Wigmore two decades ago, to bring the concept of fresh juices and other healthy smoothies to the general public. A great show you can catch up with on the station’s website.
After that I head off for the LA Convention Center for the much lauded E3: the big annual video game producers’ event. Whether it is Mortal Kombat, Assassins Creed, or fitness games such as MyBodyCoach and its competitors, they are all there.
There are some fabulous exhibitions for those who love gaming. I must say, despite rumours of the gaming market slowing down, big producers like Ubisoft go to town with their gigantic stands, luxury dream car displays and games to try out before release. Footnote for those of you who are into it, the next Call of Duty with Kevin Spacey is a gem!A must see.
Altogether, I walked 25,000 steps on the fair (all in high heels, a back massage will be essential tonight). I chilled out with another 30 minute stroll on the beach to clear my mindand refresh before setting off for a dinner. Who said one needed to wear tracksuits to walk on the beach? Not me! My stilettos are in my bag and I walk barefoot but smartly dressed
See you tomorrow!
ps: for those in any doubt what direction to take, the Santa Monica road department has done its job and clearly signposted the way!
