A few months ago when I was offered to meet and do something with Enjoy Phoenix, whose real name is Marie Lopez, I had absolutely no preconceived notions. I had no information whatsoever, and in true “coachie” spirit, I told myself “why not?!”

I didn’t watch any of her videos, just a small glance at her Instagram. Why? Because I believe that every human encounter is a gift of life, and I prefer to get an opinion on my own. I like to say that life is indeed (to quote Forrest Gump), like a box of chocolates – true, some experiences are a little bitter, but then there are those small truffles which are just delicious. Well, in life’s box of chocolates, Marie is definitely a perfect white chocolate (for those who know me, white is my SIN): delightful energy, demure but profound at the same time, humble and powerful all at once.

In short, Marie + Valérie – we’ve done well as a team!

We partnered up to film a dozen videos for you with Rose Carpet. I can’t disclose any of the content just yet due to professional privacy agreements, but I guarantee you are going to love them!

We started with fitness sessions filmed in San Francisco.

BootCampers often tell me that I’ve radically changed the way they eat, but nutrition is just one of my passions, and smart exercise routines is up there as well.

By smart, I mean a toned, balanced body, no masculine-looking muscles for us women…but we’ll easily match up on a physical with Zac Efron any day – hey Marie? 🙂

Soon you’ll get a chance to discover San Francisco and tone up at the same time!

Then you’ll head to my kitchen for…sshhh, I can’t reveal anything just yet (!)… it’s all coming soon, on the Rose Carpet Youtube Channel!

On the menu: lots of laughs, new recipes, discovering that Marie is a fan of anchovies like me, and me trying to get Marie to down some kale – unsuccessfully. I fought hard, Marie did too, but I think the kale came out on top in the end.

In short, we are toned up, we are well-fed, and then we get to relax after a beautiful yoga session with a yoga master – for which we head South via jet limo!

Let’s not forget Marie’s boyfriend, Anil – the super nice, but nonetheless a gamer (no one is perfect haha) – whose secret vice is pizza with lobster, but hey I’m a coach, I have eyes everywhere.

So Anil, if you’re reading this article, I’ll let you know that I have a photo of you devouring a huge pizza accompanied by a mega soda!

I’ll exchange it for a lesson in Assassin’s Creed, maybe I’ll finally understand how to use the joystick with 100,000 buttons.

Shopping for Marie while I have a photo shoot, and then we head to the beach for another video that you’re going to love!

Marie is just fabulous (ok, yes, she is gorgeous, but that’s not all one needs to succeed in life – a sharp brain is vital and she has that too!), that I have a pleasure to present her to Jason Moore… Jason is the type who discovers hidden treasures that no one else knows about, like Paris Hilton, and other now-famous actors and models. He has ideas for exciting projects for Marie and me, so we’re walking on a cloud for a bit!

After the interview, we head to The Ivy, LA’s hotspot restaurant to see and be seen! I have booked a sparkling surprise for Marie and did well on it! We are all in black for an amazingly colorful lunch! On the menu: grilled local fish and vegetables…and then we lose ourselves on a huge dessert, yum!

Phew, we are done with our videos and we have a few hours to spend in Santa Monica, then we jump on a bike and enjoy Venice Beach, Muscle Beach, the sand, sea, and more. Incidentally, we burn 300 calories – not bad!

We spend the next morning debriefing and planning future meetings, and with that we close an incredible week that was far too short!
