Please let me introduce you to Emilie, a star BootCampers who, on top of losing her excess weight, discovered a newfound energy from embracing a healthy lifestyle.
“I am 30 year old and have been a member of LeBootCamp since August 2013.
Before that, I rarely (OK, hardly ever) exercised. Like everyone else I had plenty of good excuses, but the truth was that I really didn’t feel like moving. My private and professional life didn’t help either. As a result, the weight piled on over time…
The trigger? A series of negative events, one of which sent shockwaves through my personal life and especially affected my mental state as well as my relationship with my husband: I was to give up any ideas of having the family life I was dreaming of. In other words, I would never have children despite every medical innovation available. Nature had chosen otherwise for me… After that bombshell I decided that I had a husband who loved me and whom I loved after all and I had to, among other things, stay beautiful to save my marriage.
So I began this program slowly but surely. I lost 29 lbs (13 kg) quite effortlessly. I am now just as determined as I was at the start. In fact, since March 2014, exercise has rooted itself in my lifestyle and my body has changed rapidly. I have reconciled myself with the mirror and love having my picture taken.
I am especially grateful to my husband for his support and for letting me take the time to accomplish this transformation, I also thank Valerie and her team for their availability, advice and support… and, last but not least, Mariette who has become a real friend to confide in and share mutual support with (what a shame we live so far away from one another). It is so important to surround ourselves with people who champion our quest for happiness.
I affirm that LeBootCamp is not a diet but a program that affords everyone a healthy and balanced lifestyle without deprivation. I have learnt to treat myself without feeling guilty. I have gone from a US size 12-14 (top and bottom) to a 6 at the bottom and a 4 at the top. The habits which are created stand are as much on a mental as on a physical and fitness plane.
And, all the necessary tools are well and truly available on the website: weekly menus, fitness targets, personal logs and charts to keep track of things, a space where you can ask any question you want to the LeBootCamp team (promptly answered), and you can adapt the program according to your own personal tastes of course.
Cherry on the cake? My husband is now on board and has already lost 17 lbs (8kg)!
As I write this, I am blossoming in my private and professional life, I am bursting with energy, I am enjoying life to the full having good times with the people who surround me. I have moved away from toxic relationships and those who held me back in life. I feel beautiful and happy with who I am. I am in the final phase of the program to shave off the last few pounds, which will be done by Christmas, I am sure.
